• Desired outcomes: your goals and what you hope to achieve with RF Microneedling. Whether it’s reducing wrinkles, improving skin texture, or addressing stretch marks or acne scars, providing specific details will help the professional customize the treatment accordingly.
• Medical History: Discussion of medical history, including any underlying health conditions. This information will help the practitioner evaluate the suitability of clients for the procedure and identify potential contraindications.
• Skin assessment
• Treatment plan: Based on the client’s concerns and skin assessment, the therapist will recommend a treatment plan tailored to the client’s needs. It will discuss the required sessions, the interval between sessions, and any additional skincare products or post-treatment care that may be recommended.

2. Treatment 

Treatment begins with skin preparation: cleaning and disinfection.

Although the 3D RF Microneedling procedure is virtually painless, some sensitive clients may need to apply an anaesthetic cream for a few minutes.

Then, a sterile square-shaped cartridge with needles will be applied to the entire face in stages.

The skin will be treated 2-3 times with different needle depths to target different skin structures.

• Microneedling: The treatment begins with the microneedling component. A device with tiny needles is passed over the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. These micro-injuries trigger the skin’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
• Radiofrequency energy delivery: After the microneedling phase, the same device delivers radiofrequency energy through the tiny needles into the deeper layers of the skin. The energy heats the tissues and stimulates further collagen remodelling and contraction.
• Collagen remodelling and rejuvenation: The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy promotes the remodelling and production of new collagen and elastin fibres. Collagen provides structure and firmness to the skin, while elastin contributes to its elasticity and flexibility.
• Enhancing Products: The micro-channels created by the microneedles allow better absorption of topical serums. As a result, it makes it possible to introduce skin boosters serums into the deeper layers of the skin, maximizing the effectiveness of the treatment.

3. After treatment

After the procedure, the skin may appear red, similar to a mild sunburn, and there may be some slight swelling or sensitivity.

These effects typically subside within a few days to a week. Over time, as collagen production continues and the skin heals, the treated area should improve texture, tone, and firmness.
