It is almost completely pain-free. Our Candela Gentle MaxPro laser system has a special device that

is effective. No more shaving or waxing means no more bumps, nicks or ingrown hairs
- Laser hair removal will save you hours of painstaking personal grooming
- The treatment is highly effective, with up to 95% of hairs being permanently removed
- The Gentle MaxPro laser machine can be used for all skin types, meaning that nobody gets left having
to deal with unwanted hair. - The treatment is completely safe. You will be in the hands of our highly trained and experienced
laser professionals. - Laser hair removal can be used on all body areas, even on delicate areas such as around the eyes and
intimate areas.
At our clinic, we provide a range of services for male clients. The treatments include Dermal Fillers, which help diminish facial lines and adds volume and fullness to the face; Anti Wrinkle Injection for men, which prevents the skin from revealing its age through wrinkles; and LPG Sports Recovery Massage for men who want to sculpt certain parts of their body and keep their skin firm and elastic.
Laser hair removal is a fast and effective way to achieve permanent hair reduction.
Our clinic uses the Candela GentleMaxPro system, which is the Gold Standard for Laser Hair Removal in all Fitzpatrick skin types. It is a dual-wavelength laser platform that combines the fastest and most powerful Alexandrite laser with an equally powerful Nd: YAG laser for high-performance treatment capabilities in terms of speed, efficacy, safety and client’s satisfaction.
Long pulsed Alexandrite laser with 755nm wavelength is very effective in treating Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. Long pulsed Nd: YAG laser with 1064 nm wavelength is a safe laser for darker skin types V-VI; therefore, we can perform hair removal on any skin colour in our clinic.
Lasers work by delivering an intense beam of light absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair shaft whilst leaving the surrounding tissue completely unaffected. The light will be converted to heat, which destroys the cells lining the hair follicles – specifically around the bulb, bulge and vascular supply – preventing hair re-growth.
All hairs are growing at a different stage of the growth cycle at any one time. Therefore, the hair shaft should be treated at the hair growth cycle’s Anagen (active) phase.
We recommend a course of 6 treatments to ensure we treat all the hairs whilst they are at the right stage. However, if the hair is particularly dense for male clients, we recommend a course of 8 to achieve the desired results.
We recommend laser instead of its alternative, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), as it has a much higher success rate and longer-lasting results.
If you want to find out more about the treatment or whether it is right for you, please come and visit us at the clinic for a free consultation and patch test.
Is the Laser Hair Removal treatment safe?
Yes. Laser hair removal has been around for years and is now an extremely common treatment. Candela, the most trusted name in the Laser industry, has pioneered the development of some of the safest and most effective technologies on the market, which have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
You will be given eye protection to be worn during the treatment and will be treated by highly qualified and experienced professionals, who will make sure you feel relaxed and happy throughout the whole experience.
How many treatments will I need?
For the best results, you will need to have a course of 6 treatments. For male clients, we will recommend 8 treatments, if the hair is especially dense.
How often will I need to have my treatments?
In order to catch the hairs at the right point in their cycle, you will need to have one treatment every 4 weeks on the face and 6-8 weeks on the body.
Is laser hair removal right for me?
Laser hair removal saves you the energy and worry of having to constantly remove unwanted hair. In order to find out whether it is the right treatment for you, we would like to invite you to a free consultation with one of our laser therapists. During this consultation, you will be talked through the treatment and given the opportunity to answer any questions you might have. We will also perform a patch test to make sure your skin is not too sensitive for the treatment.
On which body areas can hair be removed by laser?
One of the great things about laser hair removal is that it can be used on any part of the body, even in delicate areas such as around the eyes and Bikini.
I have dark skin. Can I still get laser hair removal?
Yes. Laser hair removal can now be used effectively on all skin tones.
Long pulsed Nd:YAG laser with 1064 nm wavelength is a safe laser for darker skin types V-VI; therefore in our clinic we are able to perform hair removal on any skin colour.
What precautions should I take before treatments?
Sun-burned or tanned skin is difficult to treat. It may cost you more in time and money. Try not to expose your skin to the sun at least a 3-4 weeks before treatment. Avoid plucking, waxing or bleaching hair for at least 2-3 weeks prior to treatment. Avoid applying any irritants to your skin, such as products containing RetinA, retinol, benzyl peroxide or glycolic/salicylic acids for at least 3-5 days before treatment.
Are there any side effects?
The appearance of the treated area immediately after the laser session will vary from person to person depending on the extent of treatment and usually are minor.
You may have some redness in the skin; this is completely normal and generally settles within 24 hours. Most people return to normal activity right away. We will be happy to tell you more about your treatment and what you can expect during your free consultation.
How long will one treatment take?
Treatment time for laser hair removal varies based on the area being treated, skin type and colour, hair type etc. and varies from person to person.
Good news that Candela MaxPro laser system is the fastest laser platform on the market, therefore your treatment will not need much time, just about:
- Eyebrow: 5min
- Cheek bones: 5min
- Under arms: 3 min
- Groin: 10 – 15 min
- Full legs: 30-40 min
- Chest +abdomen:20-30 min
- Full back: 20 min
- Full body (top to toe): 2 – 2,5 hours
After Treatment
Following your Laser Hair removal treatment, please ensure that you take the following precautions for the next 24 to 48 hours:
- AVOID THE SUN completely after treatment to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation
- Apply soothing Aloe Vera Gel for a few days after treatment to speed up the healing process
- ALWAYS use a broad spectrum SPF30 + sunblock cream or even SPF50 throughout the course of the treatments, and up to 6 weeks after the end of your last laser treatment
- Avoid sunbathing or any other heat treatments (sunbed, sauna, steam room, hot shower), swimming
- Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin
- 10 to 20 days after treatment, you may notice that hair is growing back on the treated area. This is not a new hair growth! The skin will push out the hairs that have already been treated by laser. It would be best to exfoliate or shave this area at this stage, and new hair will not appear for at least 3-4 weeks.
